Glovis Alabama - Employee Code of Conduct
The purpose of Glovis Alabama Code of Conduct is to steer our company-wide mindset towards creating and sustaining an ethical workplace culture. As employees, you are expected to show how your values, actions, and behavioral standards can keep our organization headed in the right direction by promoting ethical conduct and integrity.
See below for Glovis Alabama’s Employee Code of Conduct. I, as an employee of Glovis Alabama, shall strictly adhere to all relevant laws and regulations as well as Glovis’ policy to lead in the formation of an honest and healthy corporate culture by making the following pledges:
1) Not to receive cash, cash equivalents and more than $50 value of business courtesies such as but not limited to, gifts, gratuities, meals, refreshments, entertainment, and other benefits as a part of business.
2) To refuse and return any mail-in gift or item that is more than $50 value.
3) Not to accept any promotional items such as, but not limited to, clothes, pens, cigars, discount coupons that are more than $50 value.
4) Not to enforce current or potential business partners to take any personal benefits using company’s superior position.
5) To avoid gambling and betting on games with current or potential business partners.
6) Not to use company’s confidential information for personal benefits.
7) Not to remove company property such as vehicles, tools, supplies, or equipment for personal use or benefit.
8) Not to act as consultant to a competitor or potential competitor, supplier, or contractor in which conflict of interest could arise while employed with Glovis.
9) Not to take bribes (kick-backs) while doing business with contractors, suppliers, or vendors.
10) To keep Glovis’ reputation that my colleagues and I have earned with honor and
integrity.
