- GLOVIS Alabama opened its 3rd Consolidation Center in Detroit, Michigan as a joint Logistics Service provider appointed by KOTRA, providing elevated Logistics and Cost competitive services built by existing services to HMMA.

2008.10

- GLOVIS Alabama started operation of 2nd Consolidation Center outside the HMMA plant based on current high quality Logistics service, proving a common consolidation center for Tier Suppliers supplying JIT, JIS, Sub-assembly and other services needed and contributing Logistics Cost savings at a high standard.

2008.06

- GLOVIS Alabama fulfills Material Handling in HMMA Engine Plant, bringing efficient operation of JIT Parts supplies.

2006.03

- GLOVIS Alabama started JIS operation to support HMMA’s Mix Vehicle production minimizing the parts storage area in Lineside, possible mis-sequencing by operators contributing productivity improvement. Especially, GLOVIS Alabama supplies JIS parts for TRIM Line where the lead time from order to delivery is less than an hour.

2005.08

- GLOVIS Alabama started Transportation operation for the Tier Suppliers, bringing efficient operation method and competitive logistic cost using Transportation Network Analysis and applying Milk-run of FTL and consolidated cargo, Drop & Hook method.
- And introduction of i-TMS secured visibility of transportation operation in an efforts to increase quality of service for Tier Suppliers.

2003.12

- GLOVIS Alabama was established in December 2003. When the Consolidation Center opened in 2004, it became the first warehousing and transportation operation in the United States. Since our beginnings GLOVIS has expanded it’s focus to include warehouse, transportation and global servicing.
- The GLOVIS’s name was formed from two words that will constantly shape our focus Global Vision.
